The 2017 Sands Hotel Paul ‘Baxter Shield’ will be held on Saturday October 21 at Maroubra Beach. After having a year off we have moved the Baxter Shield to the warmer month of October in 2017 with a new revitalised format!
This contest is an open pre-paid surfing event with limited amount of surfing spots available that go on a ‘first in, first served’ basis. (Keep in mind that there is only a maximum of 64 competing surfers on the day and we currently have well over 150 members at Southend – so get in early to guarantee your spot.
