Monty Tait in Tracksmag’s latest DVD – Now and Tomorrow

2015 has been a huge year for young Monty Tait. Early 2015 started with a bang. He turned 18. Surfing everyday, plenty of World Junior comps and a WQS event in Burleigh. Life was good for the youngster. Then during a fun freesurf session every surfers worst nightmare became reality. A serious knee injury kept him out of the water for nearly 2 months. Recovery was slow but since about June the knee was starting to feel good and since then he has been turning heads everywhere he has surfed.

His free surfing has been phenomenal and his WQS contest results have been great.

5th @ Uluwatu Challenge
17th @ Cloud 9 – Philippines
5th @ Haskar Pro – Newcastle

These great results set him up for a big WQS campaign in 2016.

And whilst in Indo he hooked up with the Tracks Mag crew and scored some pumping waves in the Mentaiwaii’s. He then also hooked up with Blake Thornton and Jackson Giles in Bali and scored some pumping waves there too.

He features in the Tracks DVD Now and Tomorrow – Check it out
