Update: Maroubra United team finishes 6th

Congrats to the boys on finishing 6th at this year Kirra Teams event. They actually came in equal 3rd with 5 other clubs on 26 points which was 1 point behind the 2nd place Coffs Harbour team and 3 points behind the 2017 champions Snapper Rocks Boardriders. The boys fought hard with 3 x heat wins, 4 x 2nd places and a third place. Well done to the entire team and all the supporters that made it to Queeny to support the boys. A huge thanks to Karo for taking the tent up in his van again. THanks to the Kirra Surfriders for putting on another epic comp. The best and most prestigious teams event in Oz handsdown. We will be back next year to break Snappers dominance.

It’s on again. The 33rd annual Kirra Teams Challenge is on this weekend and the Maroubra United team is heading back to go 1 better this year. An epic squad has been assembled and the waves are pumping. If you are in Queeny the comp will more than likely be run at D’Bah. Get down there and support the boys. If you can’t make it up days 2 and 3 will be telecast on the Kirra website
