Teenage Rampage will make their joint debut together this weekend when the three day competition kicks off at Maroubra Beach today.

Over 120 of Australia’s best junior surfers will fight it out for valuable ASP Australasia Pro Junior Series points in the Carve Pro Junior, while some of Australia’s most promising under-16 year-olds will duke it out in the Ocean and Earth Teenage Rampage.

A large local contingent of Southend surfers will be competing with a few of the boys heading into the event as hot favourites. Already entered are 2013 NSW State Junior Champ and Australian Junior Title runner-up Monty Tait; winner of the 2013 Rip Curl GromSearch National Final Jackson Giles; 2013 Under-13 Ocean and Earth Teenage Rampage champion Max McGuigan and Surfing NSW wildcard Jake Scott.

After finishing 2013 with back-to-back wins in the Rip Curl GromSearch on the Sunshine Coast and the 2013 Rip Curl GromSearch National Final, Jackson Giles is looking forward to kicking off 2014 with the Carve Pro Junior on home turf.
