Beach Breaks free surf comp this sunday

The Beach Breaks Carnival presented by Randwick City Council, celebrates the unique surfing cultural history in Maroubra, the first beach in NSW to be declared a National Surfing Reserve.

This comp is FREE and open to all Maroubra junior surfers (no beach starts – entries close online Wednesday July 23 at http://www.surfingaustralia.com/nsw/event.php?id=1161

Divisions are:

  • Under 14 Boys
  • Under 14 Girls
  • Under 12 Boys
  • Under 12 Girls

As well as plenty of surf action for spectators, there will be mouth-watering food, colourful market stalls, and lots of rides and kids’ activities – including dodgem cars and a pirate ship. There will also be the grand finale of the youth band competition, BANDSLAM, which means there will be some amazing local, live music to enjoy as well.
