2023 Memberships now open

2023 is Southend Boardriders’ 39th consecutive year at Maroubra, making it one of the longest consecutively running clubs in the country! What a phenomenal year in 2022, taking home the Sport NSW “2022 Community Club of the Year” award! Thanks to our awesome members, families and volunteers and sponsors. With one of the best years on record for swell and a Paul Baxter Shield for the ages, we can’t wait to get stuck in this year!

MEMBERSHIP is now LIVE so head to the Southend Boardriders portal on LiveHeats. You will need to be registered and paid in order to surf in Comp #1. With one of the largest surfing membership bases in Australia, please act quickly as numbers will once again need to be capped for 2023 due to limited daylight hours and maximum surfing members. First in best dressed!

Instructions for Registration:
1. Simply go to http://liveheats.com/southendboardriders
2. Click “Sign On Now“
3. Create a LiveHeats account (or login with your existing account)
4. Enter athlete details
5. Pay with a Credit or Debit Card
6. Once complete, you’ll receive an email with confirmation
Prior to each contest, just jump on liveheats and register before Thursday to ensure your spot in the lineup.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU REGISTER IN THE CORRECT DIVISION – WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MOVE YOU ACROSS TO A DIVISION THAT IS ALREADY FULL.
There is no ‘surfinflation’ at Southend- prices will remain the same as per 2022…

  • Micro-grommets, 11 and under (parents required to assist in the water or sand, mini-contests plus some coaching thanks to LGS)
  • Cadet Boys, 12-14
  • Junior Girls, 12-17

  • Masters 46+
  • SOCIAL Member, enjoy a t-shirt, snag and cool lemonade each comp as you watch all the action!
