Gday members,

Southends August Club Pointscore scheduled for this Saturday (August 18) at Maroubra is now OPEN. It seems like forever since we last competed so please pray to Huey that there are some decent waves!

At this stage it is actually forecast to be pretty small again but you never know , so make sure you go to https://www.liveheats.com/southendboardriders/ and click ‘ENTER COMP‘ to register to surf  in the event. Entries will close Friday August 17 at 4pm.

The plan at this stage is to surf Cadet boys in the water first up and then try to get the Micros in the water early whilst the tide is low. So for this particular comp Micro boys/girls and Cadet girls will need to sign on by 9.00am with the goal to surf around 9.30. We will have a breakfast BBQ going around 8ish so come down and grab a feed and say gday.

We hope we do get a rise in swell and we can surf all divisions and finally get to taste those tasty Kebbabs proudly supplied by Tom North Plumbing!
