ALL COMPETING SURFERS NEED TO BE AT THE BEACH TO SIGN IN BEFORE 8AM ON SATURDAY morning otherwise we will need to start adding surfers into the teams from the reserves list. Once the teams are signed in by 8am, they are submitted to the comp director and entered into the computer system and then the comp gets underway – so even though you have already paid and been allocated to a team, don’t sleep in and wander down at 9am expecting to surf!

Lessons for the Micro Groms:
If you haven’t already, please reply to this email ASAP if you want your young Micro Grom to take part in the free surfing clinic with Lets Go Surfing. The Micro Boys Lesson is from 9:30am to 10:30am and the Micro Girls Lesson 10:45am to 11:45am. We want to make sure we get a good idea of the numbers so the right amount of coaches are on hand.

As usual there will be plenty of tunes, food and drinks throughout the day and a great teams atmosphere with the usual crazy antics, booby prizes and awkwardly dressed people (fancy dress theme is TOYS). Live music, DJ Raffs, more food and drinks and prizes including a couple of FREE surfboards will keep the party happening up at the Sands Hotel from 5pm too, so whether you are surfing or spectating, make sure you are set for the entire day and evening!
