Hope you managed to dodge some of the rain and hunt down a few waves over the last couple of weeks. Whilst it’s been a bit of mixed bag conditions wise, there’s been a stack of waves around and there’s definitely been some epic conditions up and down the coast at certain times.

The Barmilano Trophy (Comp #2 for the 2024 season) is OPEN and scheduled for this Saturday May 26 at Maroubra Beach. At this stage conditions are looking a little tricky with a mid-size south swell and light cross shore wind but we will definitely find a peak on the beach that is contestable……..So make sure you head over to LiveHeats to register if you are surfing and keen to get amongst!

*Please note that sign up to the event –CLOSES ON THURSDAY 23rd 4PM and you will need to register PRIOR to be able to surf. 

For the Southend Micro/ Parents Assist division– The forecast is looking really nice for you guys with some cleaner small waves in the corner at Southend and hopefully this will be perfect for you! With low tide not until at 3pm on Saturday we would like to get you in the water around 12pm, so please meet at the main tent around 11.30. We plan to have the afternoon BBQ (curtesy of Georgette & Patrick and the crew at Barmilano) around 1pm to warm you young grommets up after surfing.
