We hope the Easter bunny was kind with plenty of chocolate and you scored some amazing waves up and down the coast across the school holiday break.

A quick reminder: you need to register to surf by logging in to your LIVEHEATS account, go to Southend Boardriders & choose “Event 2 – April 2021 Little Warriors Gym” before 4pm on Thursday 15 April.

All members including groms, note that even though you have signed up for the year as a member, you still need to register to surf in each comp that you’re entering, so we know who’s coming and can draw up the heats for the day. All divisions are full and we will be lucky to get all heats surfed in daylight, so there will be NO beach starts/sign ups

Conditions are looking pretty decent for the day at this stage with a small and growing southerly swell and light winds. Hopefully this should keep everyone from micro-groms to grand-masters frothing all day long! Add a few snags, the Little Warriors Gym set up on the beach for some serious ninja warrior action and you’ve got yourself a recipe for awesome.

TBC Micros will be meeting at the Southend tent early afternoon as the tide heads out but we will confirm that time ASAP

We can ONLY get underway on time with lots of eager helpers from 6am onwards when the tents, tarps and tunes go up, so grab a coffee and don’t be shy to get involved and help out!
