Call to help out Gaz Wilson

Gary ‘Gaz’ Wilson has had a major medical episode while surfing in remote Indonesia. Gary had to be transported between multiple hospitals and locations across Indo before an emergency Medevac helicopter was arranged to fly him from Java to Bali.

Unfortunately, after several days of hospitalisation and no clear signs of improvement in his condition, it was apparent that the only option was for a medical evacuation back to Australia, (currently in Perth) where he can receive the specialist care required.

The costs have already accumulated over $100,000 with his insurance covering next to nothing of the costs being incurred. A GoFundMe page has been setup by his family to help pay the costs and get him the help he desperately needs.

Gaz is born and bred Maroubra man who was a founding member of Southend Boardriders and recently inducted into the Southend “Hall of Fame” as part of the 1988 NSW State Title Champions.  He is well known within our surfing and social community with his family still a huge part of local community.

If you are in a position to help, please consider supporting by donating here at this GoFundMe link or by sharing it as every dollar of support will make a huge difference.

We are sending our love and best wishes to Gaz and the entire family in this time of need.
